Hygiene and Disinfecting procedures at Ridgepoint Wellness

Ridgepoint staff is committed to doing our best to disinfect and cover as many reasonable areas as required and necessary. These procedures can and may change due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please inform staff or your therapist if you have any further questions, comments, or suggestions in order to ensure you continue to feel safe, secure and healthy while receiving treatment here. Below is a list of what we are doing to insure the safety of all clients and staff:

  • All therapists must do a self check before coming to the clinic.

  • We have a hand washing station set up.

  • Our waiting area, if used, is large enough to sit and still maintain mandatory physical distancing.

  • A sneeze guard barrier has been installed for all transactions and communications that are required at the front desk.

  • All clients are pre-screened the day before and day of their appointment before any treatment begins.

  • We’ve increased time between scheduled appointments to allow for disinfecting and sanitizing procedures in all areas of the clinic.

  • Our primary disinfecting solution is a Health Canada approved disinfectant against Sars-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Health Canada DIN # 02248470

  • All client exposed areas within a minimum 1 metre ( approx. 3 ft) diameter around the treatment table are disinfected after every treatment including, but not limited to table accessories, attachments, face rest, oil bottles, table base and floors.

  • The treatment room chair, and door handles are disinfected after every treatment.

  • All used linen and blankets are “single use” and laundered in the clinic using hot water and soap. Clean laundry is stored in a different room away from the used ones.

  • All staff are required to wear masks during treatment, before and after every treatment

  • All staff wash their hands before touching office equipment, door handles.

  • Since we do not have high traffic in the clinic during this time, all in use high contact areas in the reception area are disinfected at a minimum 2 hour interval. This will increase to 1 hour intervals if traffic increases over the course of time.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time!
