Hygiene and Disinfecting procedures at Ridgepoint Wellness

Ridgepoint staff is committed to doing our best to disinfect and cover as many reasonable areas as required and necessary. These procedures can and may change due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please inform staff or your therapist if you have any further questions, comments, or suggestions in order to ensure you continue to feel safe, secure and healthy while receiving treatment here. Below is a list of what we are doing to insure the safety of all clients and staff:

  • We have a hand washing station set up.

  • Our waiting area, if used and upon individual situations, is large enough to sit and still maintain mandatory physical distancing.

  • Currently, all clients will receive a Covid pre-screening email the day before the appointment. The pre-screening email questions are subject to change as the pandemic situation evolves.

  • We’ve increased time between scheduled appointments to allow for disinfecting and sanitizing procedures in all areas of the clinic.

  • Our primary disinfecting solution is a Health Canada approved disinfectant against Sars-CoV-2 (COVID-19). Health Canada DIN # 02248470

  • All potential areas of exposure from clients are disinfected after every treatment including, but not limited to table accessories, attachments, face rest, oil bottles, chairs, door handles, table base and floors.

  • All used linen and blankets are “single use” and laundered in the clinic using hot water and soap. Clean laundry is stored in a different room away from the used ones.

  • Staff are required to wash their hands and wear masks during treatment, before and after every treatment.

  • Since we do not usually experience any high traffic in the clinic, all high contact areas in the reception and bathroom are disinfected at a minimum of 3 times daily. This is subject to change as the pandemic situation evolves.

We thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time!
